Dr. Tyson is a key voice in the most dynamic and critical policy debates about the U.S. economy and job creation. As a current Member of President Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness and former member of his Recovery Advisory Board, she plays a leading role in shaping the pinnacle economic issues to be addressed in the 2012 Elections. She is currently on the faculty at the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley.
Laura Tyson is the S.K. and Angela Chan Professor of Global Management at the Haas School of Business. She served as Dean of the London Business School from 2002-2006, and as Dean of the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley from 1998-2001. During the Clinton administration, Dr. Tyson was the President's National Economic Adviser and was also the Chair of The Council of Economic Advisers.

In doing so we sketch an outlook for U.S. equities, housing-related companies, and other commonly discussed market sectors.

Emerging markets are increasingly important drivers of growth for the global economy, though they face challenges to reaching parity with, or even surpassing, today's developed nations. Emerging Markets Portfolio Manager Lupin Rahman discusses growth dynamics, inflation and structural change in emerging markets, as well as what these changes mean for the global economy.
Ms. Rahman is an executive vice president on the emerging markets portfolio management team in the Newport Beach office, specializing in sovereign credit analysis and foreign exchange strategy. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, she spent five years at the International Monetary Fund as an emerging markets macroeconomist focusing on external sustainability, exchange rate assessments, and crises vulnerability. Before joining the IMF, she worked for the World Bank, the Centre for Economic Performance, and STICERD (the Suntory and Toyota International Centres for Economics and Related Disciplines). She has 13 years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the London School of Economics.

Julie Foudy, one of the most accomplished soccer players in American history, will share her expertise on building a successful team. As financial advisors, she believes that we can be leaders in our offices, with our clients, and in our communities regardless of the position we hold. She’ll also talk about lessons learned working with philanthropic organizations and children around the world.
Biography
Julie Foudy had a sensational soccer career including playing on the USA National Team for 17 years. Julie was a captain on the National Team for 13 years, participated in 4 Women's World Cups and 3 Olympics for the USA Team. She Julie finished her National Team career with 45 goals, 59 assists and 272 international appearances (caps) for the USA. Her 272 caps rank third in the world all-time, male or female. Julie was a 4 time All-American at Stanford University and was inducted into the Stanford Hall of Fame. She was inducted in the US National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2007, alongside longtime teammate and friend, Mia Hamm. Julie and Mia were only the 6th and 7th women ever to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Most important to Julie, she has made a difference off the field as well. She was accepted into Stanford University's Medical School but decided not to pursue a career in medicine. Instead, she has spent the past decade working with organizations including the Women’s Sports Foundation, Athletes for Hope, Global Girl Media, the Positive Coaching Alliance and Beyond Sport. Julie is an advocate for women’s rights, child labor issues, using sport to create positive social change, and fighting childhood obesity.
In 2006, Julie founded the Julie Foudy Leadership Foundation whose mission is: Building on a foundation of sports and fitness, we empower young women from all socioeconomic backgrounds to become leaders who positively impact their communities. In addition, she runs the Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy, along with her husband Ian Sawyers. The Leadership Academy is a unique residential camp experience that uses sports as the vehicle to teach leadership skills for life.
Today, Julie is an analyst and reporter for ABC/ESPN, director of her Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academies, motivational speaker, and proud mother of two children, Isabel and Declan.
