Mark is the author of How to Not Ruin Your Kids with Money, published in 2024, which is an outgrowth of his work with individuals, couples and families throughout the country who seek to have positive generational transitions of wealth. He motivates those he works with and interacts with to leverage and identify a family’s personal, financial and moral capital to inform and direct positive, people-first planning goals and outcomes – with success measured not in taxes avoided or wealth accumulated, but in supporting and mentoring productive “Next Gens.”

Mark has served as a faculty member of the National Trust School of the American Bankers Association,
and was an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is a sought-after speaker, consistently receiving high marks for his ability to engage professional and general audiences on complicated technical and personal topics alike. In addition, given Mark’s 20-year plus career as a professional improv comedian and the developer of “other-centered improv,” audiences have noted his ability to connect deeply with his audiences while also adding humor and levity to even the driest topics.
